It is an Enhanced Victory design built for operations in water depths up to 6000 feet.

How does the apex-XK 1500® rig work?
From the dedicated shipping skid for the mast, to the unified skids for the solids control equipment, the APEX-XK 1500® rig was designed to improve move times between locations. With the top drive and block remaining in the mast during transit, the hydraulic cylinders raise (and lower) the mast during rig up operations.
